The Department of Pathology at New York University Grossman School of Medicine invites applications for the Director of Surgical Pathology at NYC H H/ Bellevue Hospital Center as an Assistant/Associate Professor level. Applicants will be part of a 5-member team and be responsible for diagnostic sign-out, conferences, and education. As the primary site for rotations for first year pathology residents, the candidate will be expected to have superior teaching skills in training residents and fellows.

At NYC H H/Bellevue Hospital Center, the candidate will serve as the Director of Surgical Pathology responsible for the professional, administrative, and technical operations of the surgical pathology division ensuring that quality control and quality assurance programs are established and maintained. Responsibilities will include directing the day to day operations in surgical pathology department, supervising the pathology assistant, providing coverage for on-call consultations, intraoperative consultations, and interdepartmental conferences.

Candidates must be board eligible/certified in anatomic or anatomic/clinical pathology with additional fellowship training. NY State licensure is required. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
