Summary: The Child Mind Institute has an opportunity for 2-year Research Assistant position. The successful candidate will work on NIH-funded and other studies investigating behavioral and cognitive neural correlates of toddlers, preschoolers and children with autism and related neurodevelopmental conditions. A range of methods are used, including functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), physiological measures (e.g., heart rate, respiration), computer-based tasks, eye-tracking and clinical questionnaires. The Research Assistant will assist the Principal Investigator and research site staff in support aspects of MRI and behavioral data collection including natural nighttime sleep MRI scans, management of the research database, perform data quality control, assist the principal investigator and senior staff in data preprocessing and analyses, results summary and assist in manuscript preparation. With strong interpersonal and organizational skills, this candidate should possess a keen attention to detail, a strong willingness to learn and computer skills related to data management and preparation of data summary and presentation.
