Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) will be responsible for the leadership, development, and execution of the Company's accounting function globally, including controllership, financial operations and related systems, treasury operations, accounting policy and SOX compliance, global income and indirect taxes, management and external financial reporting. Additionally, the Chief Accounting Officer will partner with non-finance related executives and managers to engage and gather information on company initiatives and activities. Of critical importance will be this leader's ability to establish credible working relationships with the company's internal auditors, independent auditors, Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

The CAO will function throughout the Company as a leader inside the business. They will establish the ethos for how finance operates at the Company, and the control environment, ensuring there is an appropriate balance between following the rules and regulations and managing the needs of the business.

* Provide accounting and business leadership in support of the Company's plan to drive shareholder return and longer-term strategic goals.

* Act as a change agent and lead the team through a process improvement transformation in accounting, shared service center and offshoring. Executing this change with the tenacity to excite and lead the team through process changes and enhancements.

* Assessing, accounting for and integration of Merger and Acquisition activities and other key strategic projects.

* Manage all areas of accounting, both technical and transactional including SEC reporting, consolidations, international (statutory) accounting, technical accounting, operational accounting, internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and financial systems. Evaluate current accounting practices and policies to ensure practices and financial reporting are continuously improving, and to meet current and future requirements.

* Lead the Company's financial close process, including preparation of financial statements and management reporting metrics and analysis. Continually evaluate opportunities to drive greater efficiencies and effectiveness in the monthly and quarterly accounting close process while ensuring a balanced workload within the organization.

* Ensure compliance with all SEC, GAAP, FASB rules and regulations in addition to state, local and corporate policies, regulations, and laws. Collaborate closely with the legal team about the company's governance processes including being a member of the disclosure committee.

* Ensure integrity of accounting and financial reporting, including appropriate information systems to maintain disciplined financial planning and control systems to accurately report performance; regularly assessing the need to thoughtfully scale the systems and financial controls in support of future growth for the Company.

* Collaborate closely with internal audit, Enterprise Risk Management, information technology, , legal and other functions to ensure proper internal controls over financial reporting and disclosure.

* Lead and/or participate in strategic initiatives of the Company involving accounting, financial reporting, tax planning compliance and structuring, including provide updates to audit committee.

* Continue to instill a performance culture resulting in meaningful process changes or improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness, as well as meeting the needs of a high growth business.

* Work with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.

* Serve as a strong, positive leader, coach, and advisor willing to roll up their sleeves to work alongside the team and share process and technical expertise to continually evolve the organization's capabilities.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree and CPA required; Master's Degree/MBA a plus.

*15 or more years of combined experience with a public accounting firm and progressive leadership roles in the controllership function for a global, public company. Experience working in large and small organizations, appreciating different operating models and approaches to enable effective execution. A Player/Coach, hands-on approach to executing is a must.

*Experience managing global teams in offshore locations is required.

*Significant experience running financial operations including billing, collections, cash applications, payroll and disbursements. Experience with healthcare operations, including revenue cycle management, a significant plus

*The Chief Accounting Officer will bring a successful track record of mentoring and leading top performing teams in both large and small companies. Specifically, they will have experience developing high potential, "up and coming" leaders to their full ability, thus building a strong bench of talent for future leadership needs.

The base salary range for this position is $350,000-$400,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: . Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
