Your responsibilities
  • Review Marketing Investment Opportunity(MIO) supporting documentation to ensure compliance within accounting policies and provide guidance to GBU Marketing.
  • Manage all Governance aspects of assigned brands' consumer marketing budget including forecasting, analyzing, accounting, controlling and reporting all activities at the program level.
  • Manage all aspects of month end close related to marketing spend (including Allocadia reconciliations, discrepancies, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations).
  • Investigate program overspends and resolve as needed.
  • Provide guidance on month end close flash for assigned brands/budgets, ensuring adequacy of accruals and highlighting any risks or opportunities.
  • Review and approve PO exception marketing invoices on a timely basis, verifying accuracy of the charges and ensuring they are applied against the correct MIOs.
  • Develop appropriate compliance reporting, ensuring all marketing POs created in SAP are appropriate for MIO, following up with Marketing, as needed.
  • Support internal/external audit requests as needed
  • Support Allocadia tool, with regards to master data and any future enhancements: ensuring functionality, data integrity, and ongoing administration.

The experience we're looking for
  • BS in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA is a plus)
  • SAP knowledge is aplus
  • 3-5 years work experience within Accounting or Finance
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to understand and analyze data logically
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills to allow for mutual understanding and cooperative solutions of problems / business needs
  • Ability to challenge and influence decisions, multi-task and prioritize assignments

US salary ranges

USD$72,000- $112,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
