Job Description

The Talent Business Partner (TBP) proactively leads all aspects of strategic and tactical HR support for their designated region within the company. You will be a consultant and work with their Director and management team on human resource-related issues. Although serving as the single point of contact for all matters people-related, you will be focused on Talent Management, HR metrics, identifying Training & Development opportunities, Compensation & Benefits, and legal compliance. You will understand the business beyond the HR department and influence its overall region to ensure superior operations and outcomes. You will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Business Partner and be located in New York or New Jersey.

EXPERIENCEYour areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • 5+ of progressive Human Resources experience for a multi-site organization, with at least 3 years of strategic partnership experience
  • Experience solid business partnership within a matrix environment
  • Human Resources generalist experience in beverage or CPG
  • Experience cross-functional collaboration and adapting national strategies at a local/regional level
  • Experience maintaining strict confidentiality of data and information
  • Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of the business and integrating the HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
  • Collaborative partner who wants to use other's expertise in pursuit of establishing best practices
  • Manage local and national projects
  • Identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee engagement, performance, and retention
  • Creative mind and experience putting ideas into practice and assessing results
  • Experience working "solo" in an HR department with demonstrated success in a fast paced company atmosphere.
  • Maintain current understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable laws regarding Human Resources issues.
  • Deliver to deadlines and problem resolution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite with familiarity of HR Information Systems
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
  • English, additional languages an advantage
  • Travel 50-60%
