Overview

Seeking a highly motivated individual who possesses, strong leadership, technical and analytical skills, with an understanding of the litigation industry. The individual will be a Litigation Business Systems Consultant (LBSC) and is expected to work with the Senior Litigation Product Manager to develop requirements, work with the Litigation Technology Solutions (LTS) team, the IT organization and the application vendor (Litify) to configure functionality and oversee UAT to ensure quality solution delivery that supports the broader department objectives and long-term roadmap.

The LBSC will have the responsibility of maintaining knowledge-based resource material for the Litigation department and will also assist in problem and issue identification, communication, and management in partnership with the Business Product Managers and Project Managers.

The LBSC serves as a liaison to technology teams through creation, planning and implementing strategic solutions. They also provide support to management by using technical expertise to identify, produce, and evaluate cost-effective procedures while maintaining productivity. They are responsible for supporting and maintaining a variety of platforms within the organization. They will collaborate with a variety of third-party vendors and internal teams to implement software applications.

Responsibilities
    Provides guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up on Litigation employee inquiries and in the resolution of reported system problems or malfunctions.
  • Analyzes and identifies the sources of application problems and works with IT and/ or vendor solution partners to successfully resolve application problems.
  • Coordinates with Litigation end users to determine requirements for systems development or revision.
  • Assists with the configuration and testing of system enhancements. Create test strategies and oversee results.
  • Troubleshoots all system problems and coordinates resolution with IT staff and/ or vendor solution partners to ensure that system changes are appropriate and viable.
  • Participates in production implementation, verification, configuration and accountable for validation of enhancements.
  • Plans, documents, evaluates and track testing results to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
  • Performs gap analysis and documents results.
  • Collects and defines requirements, translates into functional design documents, and participates in the technical design, test planning and user documentation processes. Obtains business area sign-off.
  • Work with the litigation and claims users to make changes in Litify, following proper QA and launch procedures.
  • Complete standard Salesforce admin tasks such as setting up users, profiles, roles and configuring reports and dashboards.
  • Build time saving automations using Flows and Process Builders.
  • Provide expertise and advice on best practices and be able to detail pros and cons of alternate solutions.
  • Provide timely communications and resolve requests within SLAs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with the Litify/Salesforce platform either as an IT leader, admin, or consultant.
  • 1+ years of experience with Salesforce Automations such as Flows, Process Builders. Strong Flow knowledge is preferred, with emphasis on record triggered flows, collections, loops, and working with and configuring 3rd party lightning components.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce administration and configuration; Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification preferred.
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting technical issues on. Salesforce platform end-to-end (Application, Database, Network & Integration layers)
  • Understanding of setting up users, profiles, roles, and configuring reports and dashboards in the Salesforce platform
  • Understanding of data migration from CSV, SQL, or other systems to the salesforce platform, using tools such as the Apex Data Loader
  • Experience with researching, installing, and configuring Salesforce applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, honed-in prior customer facing roles.
  • Prior experience in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance litigation, inclusive of Workers' Compensation related litigation, highly desired. Hands on involvement with litigation facing solutions and experiences.
  • Prior experience with full SDLC methodology including requirements, design, testing and support in an agile environment.
  • 5 years of experience in the design and development of complex business systems preferably in the legal industry.
  • Prior experience with manual regression testing, developing test plans and test cases.
  • Experience using Microsoft Products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.

The salary range for this role is $58,000-$70,000. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics. This range may be modified in the future.
