Job Overview:

The incumbent will work closely with Marketing leadership to ensure messaging and branding is aligned with RWJBH standards. Assists with sponsorships, marketing, finance/budgeting and community outreach.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associates degree required

Preferred:

  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Marketing/Communications major preferred
  • Work Experience: 1-3 years Marketing/Communications experience preferred
  • Strong written, verbal communication and computer skills including spreadsheets and data management
  • Ability to meet deadlines, write reports and business correspondence

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full-time Day. The schedule is Monday - Friday with some weekends for events.

Essential Functions:

  • Compiling, retrieving from the sponsorship portal and organizing various sponsorship requests from community stakeholders and non-profit organizations seeking support from MMC and MMCSC
  • Confer with Community Health, Marketing and Government Relations on relationship history with requesting organization, standing within MMC/MMCSC community and strategic fit with sponsorship guidelines
  • Works closely with Marketing leadership to ensure messaging and branding is aligned with RWJBH standards
  • Ensuring approved requests align with MMC/MMCSCs core mission statement that encourages positive community improvements, helps the underserved and enhances health and wellness
  • Communicating details and historical funding, as well as, recommendations to CEO on which requests to support
  • Executing sponsorships activation components that include

Submitting invoices to accounts payable for payment of approved sponsorships.

Submitting ad requests to the Marketing Department with ad dimensions, deadlines and any required recognition of honorees.

  • Serve as the liaison with sponsored organizations and provide them with finalized ads and materials from the Marketing Department
  • Supply events contacts with MMC marketing materials and corporate logos
  • Recruit hospital staff for event participation with guidance from CEO
  • Effectively track and maintain records in database for quarterly reconciliation with Finance Department
  • Prepares annual sponsorship budgets for MMC and MMCSC
  • Notify Community Health Department and provide details on events requiring community outreach
  • Supports Community Health Department with coordinating logistics for events requiring clinical services and/or tabling activity
  • Assists Marketing and Community Health with identifying appropriate marketing collateral for events requiring materials
  • Attends events as requested by hospital leadership
  • Raise awareness of sponsorship request portal and ensure individuals and organizations are directed to the link if they call or email regarding requests for MMC sponsorships
  • Collaborates with Marketing leadership to promote sponsorship activity on social media platforms
  • Work with the corporate sponsorship lead to ensure coordination between local MMC and RWJBarnabas Health sponsorships
