In a more formal sense, we are seeking aHuman Resources Business Partnerto join our team.Critical to success in this role is a strong business acumen, curiosity, and the ability to learn Taylor businesses and buildstrong andcredible partnerships with leaders. This role engages as a trusted advisor, coach, and consultant for leaders to improve leadership capability, team effectiveness, strategic insight, and business performance; and plays an integral role on management teams within the business unit to add value to the organization.This is a hybrid role in Monroe, NC.

This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying opportunities and creating action plans to lower attrition, drive employee engagement, and create leadership development plans in order to shape the employee experience.
  • Counsel management team concerning employee work-related issues such as staffing, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and performance reviews.
  • Apply HR best practices and principles, consultingwith HR Manager when necessary; Recommend operating policies and procedural improvements for the HR department.
  • Provide exceptional service to employees and managers by reinforcing our HR Operating model and providing direction quickly, completely and professionally.
  • Onboard new employees and provide check-ins in first 90 days of employment.
  • Complete exit interviews with employees voluntarily terming from the organization.
  • Participate in onsite Town Hall meetings and proactively share relevant HR updates with the team.
  • Ad hoc projects as described by manager.


You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in an HRBP capacity
  • 1+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Experience conducting employee relations investigations
  • Experience reviewing and creating action plans for employee attrition
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of human resources principles and practices
  • Experience utilizing and reviewing data to help identify potential data gaps and opportunities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, Outlook,and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information,perform varied work that is complex in nature with independent judgment, and interact with a diverse group of internal & external customers
  • Growth mindset with natural curiosity
